Discover Coastal Carolina Treasures

Coastal Carolina has beautiful white sand beaches and popular beach towns, but there's much more to this amazing region with 322 miles of shoreline.

You could drive it in five hours if you start at Calabash, squeeze through Wilmington and Jacksonville at the right time and avoid New Bern road construction. Then, it's smooth sailing up Hwy. 17 through charming riverfront towns like Washington, Plymouth and Edenton, then on to Elizabeth City and Moyock. Or chart a more daring course to Morehead City/Beaufort and up the famed Outer Banks. That's just 10 hours, unless weather or a kraken disrupts the ferry schedule.

If there's one spot you've always loved, go for it, or take some time to explore your options. Enjoy the scenery, stop and smell the azaleas, chow down on a seafood platter, stroll down Main Street, rent a kayak, pick some strawberries, have a cold beer or attend a unique seafood, black bear or pirate festival.

The good news is that if you’re dreaming of a Coastal Carolina home and lifestyle, there’s a place to fit your style, personality and budget. Bounty Realty can help you find it. Discover hidden gems and sparkling treasures.

Extensive real estate marketing & sales experience

Bounty Realty is an independent firm based in historic Washington in Eastern North Carolina. Owner/broker Glen Goodwin got his real estate license over 20 years ago in 2002 and has more than 30 years of real estate industry experience.

For 12 years, he was partner/creative director for an ad agency specializing in real estate marketing. In addition to working with buyers and sellers, he has worked directly for large and small new home builders in sales, marketing and management roles.

Ad agency experience provides a solid marketing background and high level of creativity to help sellers stand out from the crowd. Homebuilder experience provides a strong understanding of buyer needs, desires and motivations, plus an ability to recognize and overcome challenges for smooth transactions.

He grew up in and around Charlotte, has lived in Fort Lauderdale and Savannah and even spent some time in the NC mountains. But long drawn by distant memories of summer beach trips from the 1960s-70s, he moved to the Carolina coast, first to the Ocean Isle/Holden Beach area and more recently to Washington on the banks of the Pamlico.

Some call it Down East or the Inner Banks, but if you spend some time exploring this area's obvious and hidden treasures, you also may want to call it home. Call to discuss your needs or find out more!
